NYSA

ΝΥSA is an Athens based architecture practice operating within the boundaries of architecture and urbanism. Founded in 2021 by Alexandros Spentzaris and Giorgos Chatzopoulos, the office tackles diverse scales from small sized residences to public buildings .  The firm's most prominent projects include the 1st prize for the design of a nursery school and day care center in Chania, Crete and the redesign of the ESEE office building in Athens, Greece. 

Alexandros Spentzaris studied architecture at the Harvard University Graduate school of design (March II 2019) and the National Technical University of Athens. He has been the recipient of numerous scholarships and grants for his academic performance. In the past he has worked with various offices including RCR Arquitectes in Spain and Machado Silvetti in the United States. In 2021, Giorgos and Alexandros co-founded Nysa.

Giorgos Chatzopoulos studied architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (MArchII 2020) and the National Technical University of Athens, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D entitled "Erotics of Architecture". Ηe has been the recipient of numerous scholarships and grants for his academic performance. He has worked with RCR Arquitectes, Kokkinou-Kourkoulas Architects, and Manos Vordonarakis Designer-Manufacturer. In 2021, Giorgos and Alexandros co-founded Nysa.
